Teaching kids patience is no easy task, but it’s a life skill they’ll carry forever. 💡 Here's how we taught Ivy about delayed gratification during a Target trip that got… interesting.

Ivy fell in love with light-up Frozen snow boots and had a meltdown when my wife reminded her we weren’t buying anything that day. Instead of giving in, we struck a deal: if she still wanted the boots a week later, we’d go back and get them.

Every day for a week, she asked, ‘Is it Wednesday yet?’ She waited, and we rewarded her patience. 👏 It’s a small win, but moments like these set kids up for success in life.
