If you are a founder who cannot step away for two weeks without your business stalling, this is costing you more than you think.

Buyers do not want to buy a business that collapses when the owner goes on vacation.

Most businesses are owner dependent.
Everything runs through the founder.
Every decision needs their approval.
Every fire needs their input.

That is not a scalable company.
That is a high paying job.

A healthy business is not measured only by revenue.

It is measured by this:

How much does it make without you?
How much could it make if you stepped back?
Would growth slow down, or keep compounding?

Real enterprise value comes from systems.
From leadership layers.
From teams that can operate without constant supervision.

You should be trying to work yourself out of a job.
And your team should be doing the same inside their roles.

If the business depends on you, you do not own an asset.
You own a responsibility.

If you are serious about building something sellable, start by removing yourself from the center.
